Guest contribution by Stefan Kuhn, De Montfort University
To ensure that our community receives the representation and recognition it deserves, I am compiling a special issue on Applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in NMR for Magnetic Resonance in Chemistry.
The Special Issue will focus on collecting the latest progress in the field and consolidate work done.
Potential topics will include:
- Raw data processing
- Peak picking
- Structure elucidation
- Database searches
- Spectral similarities
- Shift or coupling constant prediction
- Mixture analysis
We do not restrict submissions to these areas, and welcome good contributions from all areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining, and related technologies in NMR. Small molecule NMR as well as biological NMR are considered.
We will invite authors for topics we would like to include directly, but everyone in the field is also welcome to suggest a topic, and then we will make sure that contents aligns well throughout the issue.
All submissions will undergo anonymous review to guarantee high scientific quality and relevance to the subject. The Special Issue will be published in early 2022, which means that we will need your manuscript by April 30th, 2021.
To submit your paper to the special issue, see the instructions at https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/pb-assets/assets/1097458Xa/special_issue_MRC_authorinstrux-1552647182537.docx. Please contact me for any questions and feel free to discuss any ideas you have with me.
Yours sincerely,
Stefan Kuhn (Guest Editor)
